The 50th Commemoration of 1971 April Heroes
1971 අප්‍රේල් අරගලයට වසර 50ක් සම්පූර්ණ වීම නිමිත්තෙන් පෙරටුගාමී සමාජවාදී පක්ෂය විසින් ‘අභියෝග කළ පරපුරක්’ යන තේමාවෙන් අප්‍රේල් 5 තිස්සමහාරාම නගරයේදී අප්‍රේල් විරු සමරුව පවත්වනු ලැබිණි.
තිස්සමහරාම නගරය වෙත අප්‍රේල් විරුවන්ට ආචාරය පළ කිරීමේ පෙළපාළියකින් පැමිණි පෙ.ස.ප. සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන් තිස්ස නගරයේ සමරු උත්සවයට සහභාගි වූහ. ආරම්භක දේශනය පෙ.ස.ප. අධ්‍යාපන ලේකම් පුබුදු ජයගොඩ විසින් සිදු කළ අතර 50 වැනි අප්‍රේල්ල විරු සමරු දේශනය පෙ.ස.ප. පාලක ලේකම් චමීර කොස්වත්ත විසින් සිදු කරන ලැබිණි.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of 1971, “April Youth Uprising”, The Frontline Socialist Party held a colourful rally called “A generation that challenged the political status quo” at Thissamaharama on the 5th April 2021.
The Party members joined the commemoration rally in the City of Tissamaharama, arriving at the venue by following a saluting procession.
Comrade Pubudu Jayagoda made the opening address at the rally, the Education Secretary of the Frontline Socialist Party and Comrade Chameera Koswatte gave the April Heroes Commemoration speech.
