No MCC, implementing the majority of demands with a different face
The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) discontinued the Sri Lanka Compact Agreement and moved its funding to Sierra Leone as the next eligible recipient Country for its US$ 480 Million grant. Sri Lankan Government is trying to hoodwink the general public saying that they managed to outsmart the MC Corporation by not signing the agreement. The reality is that the irreversible damage would have been done to Sri Lanka by signing the MCC and accepting its funding is inevitable with a different face. The noose comes with it, now going to be realised by governments own doing, implementing the majority of demands originally stated in MCC and the damage comes with it. No MCC agreement, but implementing MCC in disguise.
